East Anglia based trade fabricator Pyramid Windows are now manufacturing the highly regarded Guardian Warm Roof system – giving installers even more opportunities for business in the evolving conservatory market.
The Guardian Warm Roof System is a solid tile roof that removes common problems, such as extremes of temperature and solar glare, associated with standard conservatory roofs.
Importantly the roof has full Local Authority Building Control (LABC) approval, which is a considerable achievement, demonstrating the clever design and its thermal qualities.
The roof is made up of a pre-engineered, lightweight aluminium frame, two layers of rigid installation board, internal insulated plasterboard, exterior grade boarding, vapour membrane and a choice of external tile finishes. Fully manufactured by Pyramid the roof is quick to install and is creating quite a stir in the market place, with both installers and the consumer.
“The Guardian Warm Roof system is designed to replace an existing conservatory roof whilst keeping the original windows, door frames and walls,” explains Pyramid Window’s sales director Ian Cowling. “As such, installers can use it to sell to homeowners frustrated by problems with an existing conservatory.”
Pyramid is one of a few fabricators to offer the Guardian Warm Roof System and Ian is confident it’ll help installers stay ahead of the competition in a market that is constantly evolving:
“Consumer tastes are changing. Mr and Mrs Jones no longer want a standard conservatory with a polycarbonate roof; they’re willing to invest in quality products that add real value to a home. The Guardian Warm Roof is one of these products and installers can not only use it to sell into the retrofit market but new-build too, giving them even more opportunities.”
The Guardian roof is one of many recent additions to the Pyramid product range, with the Global Summer Orangery, K2 Rio and Venetian orangeries and now the Guardian Warm Roof all offered by the East Anglia based fabricator.
“By offering these added-value products we can help installers appeal to a greater range of consumer tastes and adapt to a market that is constantly changing,” concludes Ian.
